Event overview
The Skunk Ape Night Run is a trail running event organized by Skunk Ape Events on July 18, 2026, at the Green Swamp - West Tract near Dade City, Florida (13347 Ranch Road). The race distance is 30K. The event offers overall awards for the top four men and top four women. Finisher items include a choice of drinkware (for example pint glass, whiskey glass, mug or cup) and stickers. Course and logistics
The course combines pasture lanes, dirt roads, single-track segments on the Florida Trail, sandy sections, fire berms, and grass horse trails. Runners pass features such as a Big Foot BSA campsite, a creek crossing, a section called "The Ridge," and a loop known as the Berm that is encountered twice. Course markings include reflective tape, pink flagging, and directional signs. Aid stations are placed every 3 to 5 miles and are stocked with beverages, snacks (including pickles and various sweets), powdered electrolytes, band-aids, and women’s hygiene products. One drop bag zone is available at the Berm Aid Station; bags should be labeled and kept to roughly drawstring-bag size.
