Wild Boar Night Run - Green Swamp West Tract
The Wild Boar Night Run takes place on September 12, 2026 in the Green Swamp West Tract near Dade City, FL. The event includes the following distances:

- Half-Marathon Ruck
The course is an out-and-back route that uses old forest roads, pasture lanes, and the Florida Trail to the McNeil Entrance off County Road 471. The course elevation is listed as +127/-127 feet. Marking is provided with pink flagging that includes reflective tape; areas not to cross are marked with small pink flags.
An aid station is located at the turnaround near the McNeil Trailhead, approximately 6.6 miles out. Aid station supplies include soda, pickles, candy, chips, cookies, produce, powdered electrolytes, basic first aid items, and a box with women hygiene products at all aid stations. Drop bags are allowed at the turnaround; they must be labeled with the entrant name, kept to roughly the size of a drawstring bag, and will be returned to the Start/Finish after the aid station packs up. The turnaround is about a 25 minute drive from the West Tract start.
Awards include the top four men and top four women overall. Finisher items are selectable glass or cup items and event stickers; additional merchandise is available through the event merch store on Bonfire.
The event offers a potluck option for a fee of $25 with community coolers for shared beverages. Camping in the Green Swamp is free with a required reservation displayed at the campground; Ashley and Cumpressco campgrounds are noted options and a login at the Southwest Florida Water Management District website is required to reserve a site.
Ruck rules specify a civilian weight standard: 20 lb if under 150 lb and 30 lb if over 150 lb. Ruckers must use a ruck sack only; weight vests and plate carriers are not permitted.
