Seahawks 5k Run : Sunlake High School
The event is a cross country style 5K held on the Sunlake High School campus in Land O Lakes, Florida. The course mixes grass and road surfaces and finishes with a final quarter mile on the stadium track.
A record challenge is part of the race, with separate target times for men and women that offer special recognition to anyone who breaks them. Chip timing is being used for the 2026 edition. The race uses multiple age groups and presents awards for overall male and overall female, fastest boys team and fastest girls team based on top five average times, plus top three in each listed age group.
Registration follows a tiered fee schedule. Pre-registration by June 30 is priced lower than later entry windows; team entries are offered at a discounted flat rate per gender for up to ten runners, with an additional per runner charge for larger teams. Team entries are separated by gender and do not include event shirts.
Dri fit shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by July 31. Packet pick up is available the day before at the Sunlake High School track and the morning of the event. Raffle certificates and donations will support the host program for uniforms, travel, and training equipment. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
