Event Overview
The Seahawks 5k Run is a cross-country event located at Sunlake High School in Land O Lakes, Florida.
Course
The course is a mix of grass and road surfaces. The final quarter-mile of the race finishes on the stadium track.
The Colby Robbins Challenge
The event features a speed challenge. Men can attempt to beat the Pasco County cross-country record of 15 minutes and 14 seconds. Women can attempt to beat the female course record of 18 minutes and 44 seconds. Anyone who breaks one of these records receives lifetime free registration to future Seahawks 5k races, their name featured on future race materials, and permanent bragging rights.
Registration and Fees
Pre-registration before July 31st costs $25. The price increases to $35 starting August 1st. Race-day registration is available for $40. Dri-fit t-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by July 31st. A team rate of $100 is available for high school, middle school, youth club, and college teams, covering up to 10 runners.
Awards
Awards are given for Overall Male, Overall Female, Fastest Boys Team, and Fastest Girls Team. The top three finishers in standard age groups from 10 & under to 70 & over also receive awards.
Event Details
The event will use chip timing and has expanded age groups for the 2026 edition. Packet pick-up is available the day before the race at the Sunlake High School track, as well as on race morning. Donations are accepted to support the team's uniforms, travel, and training equipment. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
