Event details
Both distances start and finish on the half-mile Deal Island Bridge. The harbor area features the Chesapeake Bay Skipjack Fleet near the start. Professional chip timing is provided by TCR Event Management. Multiple water stops, refreshments (including chocolate milk), and a long sleeve cotton-feel tech tee are included.
Awards are given overall, masters (over 40), and by age group, with no duplicate awards. The 5K and 10K begin simultaneously. Race day registration is available. Walkers, jogging strollers, and well-mannered canines on leashes are allowed. EMT assistance is available. Raffles and unique trophies are part of the event.
