Event details
The 5K and 10K have a simultaneous start and finish that include the half mile sloping Deal Island Bridge. The start line is at the harbor, where the Chesapeake Bay Skipjack Fleet is present. Professional chip timing is provided by TCR Event Management.
Race features listed by the organizer include long sleeve cotton-feel tech shirts, multiple water stops, refreshments including chocolate milk, raffles, and unique trophies. Awards are given overall male and female, masters male and female (over 40), and in age groups for both sexes; duplicate awards are not given. Race day registration is available. Walkers, jogging strollers, and well-mannered canines on leashes are permitted. EMT assistance will be available on site.
