Eastern Shore 5K - 5K Celebration
The Eastern Shore 5K is the closing event for Girls on the Run Greater Chesapeake’s season. It is presented as a celebratory 5K that gives program participants a tangible sense of accomplishment and helps build confidence through completion.
The event is scheduled for 12/05/2026 at Pirate's Wharf Park, 4701 Whitehaven Rd, Quantico, MD 21856. Registration is set to open in October 2026. Every program participant receives a commemorative medal to mark completion of the 5K.
Sponsors at the national and local level support the event. National partners named include Adidas, Gamma Phi Beta, BAND, Rowan, Gorjana, and Fleet Feet. Local sponsors include MedStar Health as presenting sponsor, along with organizations such as CareFirst, Charm City Run, TEK Systems, David Ross Orthodontics, Easton Utilities, Giant, Salisbury University, Under Armour, United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore, and others.
