Skinny Raven Turkey Trot : Anchorage, AK (Nov 26, 2026)
The Skinny Raven Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving running and walking event staged from the Dena'ina Civic & Convention Center in downtown Anchorage. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation options on November 26, 2026, and routes travel through downtown Anchorage with an indoor finish inside the Dena'ina Center.

Awards are given for top overall finishers and for age classes. The top three overall in each gender in the 5K receive prizes. Age class winners and the top three 10-and-under in the Mini Turkey receive a pie. Age classes for both men and women include: 1-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
The event supports Food Bank of Alaska through registration donations and a food drive running from November 1 through November 26; the 2026 fundraising goal is $15,000 and 1,000 pounds of food. Participants can opt out of the included long sleeve tech shirt and have its value donated to the Food Bank. Icebug is listed as the event winter shoe partner.
Logistics notes include multiple pre-event packet pickup dates and a packet shipping option for virtual participants; out-of-state shipping has a $5 fee for lower 48 or Hawaii. For safety and insurance compliance, pets, bicycles, and rollerblades are not allowed, and participants with strollers are asked to start at the back of the field.
