Skinny Raven Half and 10K
The Skinny Raven Half and 10K is an annual mid-summer running event held in Anchorage, Alaska. The race is organized in partnership with Brooks Running and offers participants a choice between two main distances:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 10 km
The event utilizes the scenic Anchorage Park Strip, with both the start and the finish located at the Centennial Rose Garden. The course layout incorporates several of the most recognized trails in the Anchorage area. In addition to the in-person races held on-site, virtual options are available for both the 13.1 mile and 10 km distances, allowing participants to complete their chosen distance remotely.
Participants return to the Rose Garden after their run, where the venue provides a space for relaxation and recovery. Post-race amenities provided at the location include lunch, various refreshments, and massage services. The finish area also features Double Shovel Cider for those completing the course.
