The Skeleton Run

The Skeleton Run is a Halloween themed 5K scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, on the grounds of Fort Monmouth. The start and finish are at the back entrance of Fort Athletic Club. The course is closed and chip timed, and participants may run or walk a winding path that includes themed elements and surprises.

All participants will receive a skeleton suit. Costumes of all kinds are encouraged. After the race there are official after parties at Baseline Social and Birdsmouth Brewing with live music from Ocean Avenue Stompers and a celebratory beer or soft drink for participants. Birdsmouth will host a vendor village on site.

A portion of event proceeds will support Lunch Break's Family Promise Center on Fort Monmouth. The event is created and organized by Beacon Events, an event management company.
