The Skeleton Run
The Skeleton Run is a Halloween-themed 5K held on 10/24/2026 on the grounds of Fort Monmouth in Oceanport, New Jersey. The event takes place at 114 Saltzman Ave and is organized by Beacon Events.
All participants receive a skeleton suit. The course is closed and results are chip timed. After the run there are two official after parties at Baseline Social and Birdsmouth Brewing; attendees may choose a celebratory beer or soft drink at those venues. Birdsmouth will host a vendor village, and live music is scheduled from Ocean Avenue Stompers.
A portion of event proceeds will be donated to Lunch Break's Family Promise Center on Fort Monmouth. Registration opens 6/23/2026 and closes 6/25/2026. The listed registration fee is $40.00.
