The Skeleton Run

The Skeleton Run is a Halloween 5K event held on October 24, 2026, on the grounds of Fort Monmouth in Oceanport, New Jersey (114 Saltzman Ave, 07757). The event includes a timed 5K race and an after party access option.

All registered 5K participants receive a provided skeleton suit, chip-timed results, and access to celebratory after parties. The after parties take place at Baseline Social and Birdsmouth Brewing and include live music, food, vendors, and a celebratory beverage choice at either location. An after party only option is available and includes access to the after parties and a beverage.

A portion of event proceeds will go to Lunch Break's Family Promise Center on Fort Monmouth. Registration pricing specified in the event details lists a registration fee of $40.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for after party access only. Priority registration for participants from 2024 and 2025 opens on June 16, 2026, and general registration begins on June 18, 2026, with the times indicated in the event information.
