Six-O Trail Run
The Six-O Trail Run takes place at the Six O Ranch in Cleburne, Texas, a 1600 acre working cattle ranch on the edge of the Texas Hill Country with over 20 miles of trail. The course runs clockwise and follows a mix of single track, dirt ranch roads, wide open fields and several water crossings. Runners should note there are cattle on the property and course markings can be affected.
Race distances offered:
- 6 Mile Run 1 x 6 mile loop
- Half Marathon 1 x 13.3 mile loop
- Marathon 2 x 13.3 mile loop, totaling 26.6 miles
- 50K 2 x 15.56 mile loop, totaling 31.4 miles
Elevation and course notes include:
- 50K loop: 15.56 miles with 1317 ft of ascent per loop.
- Half Marathon loop: 13.3 miles with about 1174 ft ascent and 1175 ft descent.
- Six Mile loop: roughly 534 ft ascent and 534 ft descent.
This event is cupless; no disposable cups are provided. Aid stations provide water, Gatorade and food, and runners must carry a personal hydration device. A reusable collapsible cup is available for purchase at packet pickup. Parking is $5 per car and campsite parking is $10; primitive tent and RV camping for Friday night is $10 per site and includes portable toilets.
