Inaugural Grassroots Running Series
The Inaugural Grassroots Running Series takes place on May 16, 2026 in Cleburne, Texas at Smith Intermediate, 1710 Country Club Rd. Races are run on a grass cross country course with a fast layout and moderate elevation changes.
Distances include:
- 1 mile race
- 2 mile race
The event is organized by CHS Cross Country and the Hybrid Runner Foundation and is intended to promote running and build the local running community while providing athletes with opportunities to compete during the summer. Multiple divisions are offered: Elementary (1 mile), Middle School, High School, and Masters for community runners.
Registration closes May 13, 2026. The listed registration fee is $5.00 per race.
