The Hybrid Runner Foundation 5th Annual Turkey Trot 5K : Cleburne
The Hybrid Runner Foundation presents the 5th Annual Turkey Trot 5K in Cleburne on November 21, 2026, at Hulen Park (301 W Westhill Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033). The event is organized by a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and donates race proceeds to the Cleburne High School cross country and track teams to fund shoes, equipment, uniforms, and general team needs.
The event format is a 5K run/walk. All participants who finish receive customized 5K finishers medals. Registered 5K runners receive an official 2026 Turkey Trot T-shirt (guaranteed if registered by October 31, 2026), a goodie bag, sponsor booth giveaways, free race photos, chip-timed results, volunteer support, finish line water and food, and awards for top finishers in each category.
Event features include a mascot race, sponsored booths with giveaways, prizes for best turkey costume and biggest team, and awards for the best decorated and most spirited booths. The emcee and DJ will be provided by the Cleburne Railroaders announcer. Awards include plaques for overall and masters/seniors and trophies for age group finishers, plus trophies for largest teams and the participant who traveled the farthest.
The race operates rain or shine. For safety, headphones are discouraged. Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and rollerblades are not permitted on the course. Strollers are allowed but must start at the back of the field.
Registration pricing follows multiple tiers and a team discount for groups of 10 or more. Early packet pickup is scheduled for November 20 at Hulen Park under the pavilion; race day packet pickup is available on November 21. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
