The Sisters by Choice 22nd Annual Pink Ribbon 5k Run/Walk takes place Friday July 17 through Sunday July 19, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia. The in-person activities are held at Piedmont Park, 1320 Monroe Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30306. The event offers multiple participation options: in-person timed and untimed 5k run/walks, a virtual 5k run/walk, a free entry category for kids 6 years old and under, and a Phantom Runner option for supporters not running. T-shirts will be handed out to in-person participants and mailed to virtual participants. The first 500 people to cross the finish line will receive a medal.
Purpose and logistics
All proceeds support the operational costs of the Sisters by Choice Mobile Breast Clinic. The organization provides at least 1,000 free breast health services each year, including mammograms, breast exams, breast biopsies, and sonograms for uninsured, underinsured, and homeless women and men. For in-person waves, participants are grouped with up to 50 runners per wave and waves are spaced every 5 minutes. Hydration will be provided on site. Virtual participants complete a 5k at their own location between July 17 and July 19, track their distance with a running app or smartwatch, and submit virtual results.
