Event Overview
This event is the Sisters by Choice 22nd Annual Pink Ribbon 5k Run/Walk. It is a fundraising event supporting the Sisters By Choice organization's Mobile Breast Clinic. The main in-person event is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. There is also a virtual option where participants can complete their 5k at their own location between Friday, July 17, and Sunday, July 19, 2026.
Event Details and Format
Participants can choose from several event types:
- In Person Timed 5k Run/Walk
- In Person Untimed 5k Run/Walk
- Virtual 5k Run/Walk
- Kids 6 years old and Under (free entry)
- Phantom Runner (a non-running option to provide support)
For the virtual event, suggestions are provided for tracking the distance, such as using apps like Runkeeper, Map My Run, or Strava, or measuring by walking around a track 12.5 times or taking approximately 5,500 steps. Virtual participants must submit their results online.
Registration and Fees
Registration opens on January 19, 2026. The standard fee is $45 before June 18, 2026, and increases to $50 after that date and for on-site registration. All event proceeds go directly toward the operational costs of the Sisters By Choice Mobile Breast Clinic, which provides free breast health services in the Metro Atlanta area.
Participant Perks
T-shirts will be distributed on the event day for in-person participants and mailed to virtual participants. Medals will be awarded to the first 500 people to cross the finish line at the in-person event. Hydration will be provided for in-person participants.
