The 404 Run
The 404 Run takes place on April 4, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia, at 400 Park Drive NE. The event includes an in-person race called The 4.04 Run and a The 4.04 Virtual Run. The distance for the race is 4.04 miles.
The event is presented as an Atlanta experience that blends running, music, art, and city pride. The course runs along a park and BeltLine corridor and uses road and paved path surfaces. Timing is professionally chipped.
Finishers receive a T-shirt and a finisher's medal, and founders receive special swag. Awards include Overall Male and Female plus top three male and female finishers in age groups 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Teams can compete for the Top Team In The 404 Award.
A portion of each registration is designated for cancer research. Participants may indicate if they are running in honor or memory of someone affected by cancer; those names may be recognized as part of the event experience.
This edition is the first year of the 404 Run. The day also features a post-race celebration and elements intended to reflect Atlanta's local culture. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
