The 404 Run
The 404 Run is a timed community running event held in Atlanta that follows a distance of 4.04 miles. The event is scheduled on 404 Day; the next edition is planned for April 3, 2027. The course begins at Herman J Russell West End Academy and enters the Beltline, using the field and track behind the school. The venue address is 765 Peeples St SW, Atlanta GA 30310.
The event includes a post-race celebration and an award ceremony. Finishers receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. Awards are given for overall male and female and for age-group top finishers in multiple categories, including youth and senior divisions.
A portion of registration fees is designated for cancer research. Participants may optionally dedicate their miles to someone affected by cancer; names shared during registration may appear on a dedication wall created for that purpose. The event also involves volunteers and offers sponsorship opportunities to organizations that want a visible presence during the race and celebration.
