About the race
SilverBackTrails Oswiu’s Revenge is a low-key trail half marathon of around 13.2 miles, held near Osmotherley and starting from Square Corner. The course winds through Black Hambleton and Silton Woods, along forest tracks and ancient trods with views of the North Yorkshire Moors and the Vale of York. It is described as friendly but challenging, with technical ascents and a sting-in-the-trail feel.
Navigation is supported by flags, marshals, a master map at registration, and a GPX route sent beforehand. Finisher medals and certificates are awarded; time limit 3.5 hours.
