Darlington Half Marathon - December 2026
The Darlington Half Marathon is a fully road-closed half marathon held on Sunday 6 December 2026 with the listed start location at High Row, Darlington DL3 7LG. The route is described as flat and covers 13.1 miles, beginning in the town centre, moving west onto quiet rural roads in County Durham and returning for a finish on the High Street.
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and a bag drop. The event lists an entry fee of £40 plus a booking fee. There is a three hour cut off on the course due to road closures and the minimum age for the half marathon is 17.
Event facilities are centred on an event village. Race pack collection is available from the event village on the day and the village opens at 07:30. A secure baggage marquee is provided; baggage tags attach to race numbers for collection. Toilets are available in the event village and approximately halfway on the course. Water is provided at roughly every 5 km and at the finish alongside post-race provisions.
The race notes accessibility for pram and wheelchair participants, guidance from marshals, spectator information about road closures, and that finish line photos are available free of charge.
