Mental Elf Festive Fun Run
The Mental Elf Festive Fun Run takes place on 29 November 2026 in South Park, Darlington. The event returns for 2026 and runs over a two lap 5 km route that passes the park’s main landmarks.
Participants may walk, jog, skip or run the route. The event is open to all ages and abilities. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged five and under can take part for free.
Entry prices are listed as Adults £15, Children £10, and Family (2+2) £40. There is a fundraising target of £20 for entrants.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short lead. Pushchairs are allowed; bicycles and scooters are not permitted for safety reasons. A warm up will be led by a fitness professional. Each ticket includes a runner’s medal and a goody bag, and some entertainment will be provided on the day. Festive fancy dress is encouraged and there will be prizes for participants.
