Event Overview
The Shriners 5K is a running event scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Fairmont, West Virginia. It is a new addition to the Marion County Race Series. The event supports the charitable work of Osiris Shriners, an organization that supports Shriners Children's hospitals and serves the northern region of West Virginia.

Course Details
The in-person course takes place on the streets of East Side Fairmont. It starts at the Meredith Tunnel trailhead on Marion County Trail. The route features an 80-foot elevation gain within the first half-mile, followed by a similar decline near the finish line. A water stop is provided around the two-mile mark. Parking and registration are near the intersection of Morgantown Avenue and Winfield Street.
Participant Information
All participants receive a participation medal. Registrants before September 15th also receive a tee shirt. Top-three in-person finishers in the Overall Male, Overall Female, and Overall 15 and Under categories receive additional awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
