Morgantown Running 5k Turkey Trot 2026
This event in Morgantown, West Virginia, presented by Morgantown Running, features a 5k run/walk and a separate kids 800m Turkey Fun Run for participants under 12. The 5k starts on the blue track by the WVU Coliseum, follows nearly a full lap of the track, then proceeds onto Mon Boulevard downhill past Texas Roadhouse. Runners turn onto Boyers Avenue, then Leeway Street, pass Sheetz, and join the rail trail for the final approximately two miles, finishing behind the Seneca Center at Morgantown Running.

Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female 5k finishers, plus top male and female 5k walkers. Walkers must remain walking if registered in the walk category; those who intend to run and walk should register for the run. Random prize drawings will be held and the first 1000 registered participants will receive a pair of socks; new crew socks are available in size options.
Parking is available at the start by the blue track or at the finish by the Seneca Center, with shuttle service provided by Fox Shuttle Service. Online registration closes on November 23.
