Old Port Half Marathon & 5K - Portland, ME
The Shipyard Old Port Half Marathon & 5K is scheduled for June 6, 2026, in Portland, ME. The event offers in-person races along a waterfront course that passes Casco Bay, Back Cove, and the historic Old Port neighborhood. Races are professionally timed and all finishers receive a commemorative medal and finisher photos.
Race weekend includes a block party-style after party with live music in a beer garden, complimentary snacks, and complimentary craft beer and hard seltzer for guests 21 and older. Event registration traditionally includes race swag and a new medal for finishers.
A virtual run option lets participants complete the course remotely and still receive event swag. Group registration is available to register multiple participants together. Volunteer roles are offered for race-day support, including packet pickup and medal distribution. The event partners with charities, including A Running Passion, to support student athletes in the Old Port area.
