Old Port Half Marathon & 5K - Portland, ME
The Shipyard Old Port Half Marathon & 5K takes place on June 6, 2026, in Portland, Maine. The event offers these race distances:

- 5K
Both distances use single-loop courses along Portland’s waterfront. The half marathon route passes Casco Bay, Back Cove, and the historic Old Port neighborhood. The 5K runs from downtown toward the waterfront along Commercial Street, follows the Eastern Promenade Trail with views of Casco Bay, and returns via Fore Street and Middle Street.
Packet pick-up is at Stevens Square Community Center in Portland on Thursday, June 4 (4 PM – 8 PM) and Friday, June 5 (10 AM – 6 PM). There is no race day packet pick-up. Participants may select packet mailing during registration; the packet mailing deadline is May 17, 2026.
Gear check is available in the One Portland Square Parking Lot. Participants must use a clear bag; backpacks and non-clear bags are not accepted. All gear must be claimed by 12:00 PM.
Race services include event swag, a new medal for finishers, free finisher photos, and professional timing. Pacer groups are provided for a range of finish targets. A block party-style after party at the finish features snacks, live music, and complimentary beer or hard seltzer for attendees 21 and older.
