The Shipyard Old Port Half Marathon & 5K takes place on June 6th, 2026, in Portland, Maine. The event features coastal routes that pass through the city's historic districts and offer views of the waterfront. Participants can choose between two primary distances or a virtual participation option.

The half marathon is a single-loop course featuring views of Casco Bay. Pacer groups are provided for various finish times ranging from 1:30 to 3:00. The 5K course is completely closed to traffic and consists of a single loop. It begins in the historic Old Port district, traveling through tree-lined streets with 19th-century architecture. This route includes a 75-foot climb during the first mile before descending to sea level along the waterfront.
Registration includes professionally timed results, a finisher's medal, exclusive event swag, and free finisher photos. The event also hosts a block party-style celebration at the finish line, which includes live music in a beer garden and complimentary snacks. Participants aged 21 and over receive craft beer or hard seltzer.
A gear check service is available on race morning for participants using clear bags. There is no race day packet pickup; bibs must be collected on the Thursday or Friday prior to the event, or received via mail if that option is selected by May 17th.
