She Strides Women’s only 50k is scheduled for 1 August 2026 in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. The event is organised by She Strides Events and starts and finishes at Wadsworth Community Centre, Billy Lane, Old Town, Hebden Bridge, HX7 8RY. The race distance is 50k. Minimum age to enter is 18. Entries open 3 August 2025 and close 17 July 2026. Entry fees are: standard £50 until 30 November 2025 then £65, and youth entries (under 23) £20. There is a 10 hour cut-off at the last checkpoint. All finishers receive a medal and there is an option to add a cotton t-shirt to an entry. The event offers the option to purchase XCover for possible refunds if unable to attend.
Course and facilities
The route passes through woodlands and open moorland and goes through Hebden Bridge and Haworth and other areas of outstanding natural beauty. The course includes about 5,000 ft of ascent. Checkpoints are described as well stocked and vegan friendly. Baggage storage, changing facilities and sanitary products are available at registration; sanitary products are also available at checkpoints. Support crew and event photographers are all female.
