The Shark Run 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is an annual running event held on Independence Day, July 4, 2026. It takes place at The WHARF Convention Center in Orange Beach, Alabama. This edition is noted as the 12th annual Shark Run.

Awards and Amenities

All finishers in every event receive a completion medal. For the 5K Run and 5K Walk, custom age group award medals are presented in five-year increments. The event features a DJ and an awards finishers party.
