The 12th Annual SHARK Run is scheduled for July 4, 2026 in Orange Beach, Alabama. The event takes place at The WHARF Convention Center, 4671 Wharf Parkway (Canal Road), Orange Beach, AL 36561. The race is part of the Run the Coast Summer Series.

Entry and fees
Listed entry fees are $29 for the 5K run and 5K walk, and $14 for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. The 5K events show a price increase after March 26, 2026. The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk shows a price increase after March 23, 2026.
Awards, shirts and packet pick-up
All finishers receive a medal. Custom age group awards are offered for 5K runners in 5-year increments and for 5K race walkers in 10-year increments. The first 250 registrants are guaranteed a custom Shark Run shirt in the requested size; later registrants will receive a shirt that may not be custom or in the requested size.
Packet pick-up dates and locations are listed as July 3, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the Sandshaker at the Wharf, and July 4, 5:45 AM - 6:45 AM on Main Street at the Wharf in front of Sand Dollar Lifestyles. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
