Lawrence Shamrock Shuffle
The event returns for its 38th annual Shamrock Shuffle in Lawrence, with start and finish at Johnny's Tavern, 401 N. 2nd Street. Routes wind through the historic North Lawrence and Pinkney neighborhoods. Proceeds benefit Douglas County children's charities selected by the Lawrence St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee.
Race-day provisions include a commemorative race shirt, a participation award, and an Irish breakfast provided by Johnny's North and the parade committee. Aid stations are located on course at approximately every 1.5 to 2 miles. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each age group, plus overall male and female awards, overall Master male and female awards, and Super Masters awards for male and female divisions.
Registration opens July 1, 2026; closing dates vary by event in late October or November 2026. Fees listed by event range from $37.00 to $47.00. The event offers in-person and virtual options and a family entry that allows adding a child under 16 during registration.
