Bonner Springs YMCA Tri at the Y
The Bonner Springs YMCA Tri at the Y is an indoor triathlon held at the Bonner Springs Family YMCA on December 6, 2026. The event records distances for each activity during set time periods. Participants compete in swim, stationary bike, and treadmill run segments inside the facility. Heats are used and participants will receive a heat notice.
Age divisions are specified. The Open division is for adults aged 15 and older. Youth ages 7 to 14 may compete but must have passed a swim test before the event and have their height checked for the spin bike. If a competitor aged 14 or younger wishes to compete in the Open division, they must register under the Open division.
Segment times are tracked rather than fixed distances, with standard time allocations for each division:
- Adult: Swim 15 minutes, Bike 15 minutes, Run 15 minutes on treadmill
- Youth: Swim 5 minutes, Bike 10 minutes, Run 5 minutes on treadmill
