Bonner Springs YMCA Tri at the Y
The Bonner Springs YMCA Tri at the Y is an indoor triathlon taking place at the Bonner Springs Family YMCA on December 6, 2026, at 2251 S 138th Street, Bonner Springs, KS 66012. The event combines pool swimming, indoor cycling on spin bikes, and treadmill running, with distances tracked during set activity periods.
Participants compete in age divisions. Adults are 15 and older in the Open division. Youth competitors are ages 7 to 14 and must have passed a swim test before the event and have their height checked for the spin bike. Participants age 14 and under who wish to enter the Open division must register in that division.
Event format includes timed segments for each activity:
- Adult: Swim 15 minutes; Bike 15 minutes; Run 15 minutes (on treadmill)
- Youth (ages 7-14): Swim 5 minutes; Bike 10 minutes; Run 5 minutes (on treadmill)
Registration fees are listed as $45 for adults and $35 for ages 7 to 14, with a price increase scheduled after November 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. Every finisher receives a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
