Event Details
The Run Muskegon Shamrock Shuffle 5K takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026. The race is located at 895 Fourth Street in Muskegon, Michigan. The event is based at The Brewer's Lounge at Pigeon Hill. Parking is available at the Mart Dock and in the City lot east of Pigeon Hill.
Registration
Registration is conducted 100% online. The entry pricing includes a quarter zip pullover in adult sizes (S-2XL); participants must register by March 5th to receive it. The price is $31.50 from January 1-4, $35 from January 5 through March 12, and $45 on March 13-14.
Course and Awards
The race course is a flat 5K route that uses quiet streets and the paved Lakeshore Trail. Strollers and wagons are allowed on the course, but dogs are not permitted.
Awards are presented in multiple categories. Overall male and female winners are recognized, as well as overall Masters (40-64) and Grand Masters (65+). Awards go three deep in each standard age group from Under 10 to 80+. Overall awards use gun time, while age group awards use chip time. Chip timing is provided by Runner’s Edge Race Timing.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available on Friday, March 13th from 5-7 PM and on race day from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM at The Brewer's Lounge. After the race, there is a $1 discount on a first beer with an event voucher. The event coincides with the local Jaycee's St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Muskegon.
