Event overview
The LSSC Shamrock Shuffle takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Lake-Sumter State College South Lake campus in Clermont, Florida (1250 North Hancock Road). The event offers the following distances:
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- 5K
- 10K
- Virtual Racer
The road course begins on the South Lake campus, follows the South Lake Trail via the Hancock Extension, and finishes back on the Lake-Sumter campus. No strollers or pets are allowed on the course. Participants age 21 and older may access a green beer garden on site.
Race details and awards
The 5K and 10K include timed results and prizes for the top three finishers by gender. Placement trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K. Age-group placements for the 5K and 10K are awarded in these groups: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. There are no placements in the 1 Mile Fun Run. Registered participants receive a t-shirt and finisher medal if registered on or before February 15, 2026.
