Honoring the Fallen 5K : Clermont, FL
The Honoring the Fallen 5K is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026, in Downtown Clermont. The event is organized by the Clermont Police Department and is the fifth annual edition. It honors nearly 80 law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty in 2025. Proceeds and donations benefit Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) and the Code 4 Initiative.

Race details and logistics
The race starts and finishes at Suncreek Brewery and uses a scenic out-and-back trail course of 1.5 miles each way. There is a mid-course aid station that participants pass twice. Packet pickup is available at Dash Sports on the two days before the race and at Suncreek Brewery on race day. The in-person and virtual events have an entry fee of $40. Registration deadlines differ by event.
All participants receive an event shirt (while supplies last), a chip-timed bib, a custom finisher medal, and post-race snacks; a complimentary draft beer is offered at Suncreek Brewery for those 21 and over (one per person). Awards include overall and masters top male and female, age-group awards in 5-year increments from 9 & under through 75+, and team awards for fastest and most represented teams. Course rules: no dogs on course/start/finish; service animals allowed with prior notice; strollers should start toward the back. A flag sponsorship option is available for a fee.
