Event overview
The Honoring the Fallen 5K is the fifth annual Clermont event on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The event is presented in Downtown Clermont and starts and finishes at Suncreek Brewery, 790 W Minneola Ave, Clermont, FL 34711. The event honors nearly 80 law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty in 2025 and was formerly known as the Conrad Buckley Legacy Scholarship 5K. Proceeds and donations benefit Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) and the Code 4 Initiative.

The in-person course is an out-and-back along the trail, described as 1.5 miles each way. There is a mid-course aid station that participants pass twice for hydration. Packet pickup is available at Dash Sports on February 19 and February 20, with race day pickup at Suncreek Brewery.
All participants receive an event shirt (while supplies last), a chip-timed bib, a custom finisher medal, and post-race snacks. A complimentary draft beer is available at Suncreek Brewery for participants aged 21 and over (one per person). Registration prices listed are $35 for the in-person 5K and $40 for the virtual 5k; the in-person price increases after December 1, 2025.
Awards are given for Overall, Masters, and age groups (top three in 5-year increments from 9 & under through 75+), plus team awards including fastest team and most represented team. Course rules state no dogs on the course, with service animals allowed by prior notice; strollers are welcome and should start toward the back.
