Course and logistics
The 4-mile course winds around neighborhoods near the shopping center, with a mostly downhill first half and an uphill return to the finish. Packet pickup is offered at Run For Your Life store locations on the Friday before the race and on-site race day pickup is available. There is no bag check service.
Every participant receives a short-sleeve event shirt while supplies last; shirts are ordered by the sizes given during online registration and size changes are restricted before the event. Awards include overall, masters, and multiple age-group divisions (14 & under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75+), presented at a post-event awards ceremony approximately 30 minutes after the first finisher.
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Dogs are not allowed on the course; strollers and baby joggers are permitted and will start with other participants. Medical services at start/finish are provided by Novant Health. Porta-potties are available at the start/finish area.
