Charlotte Turkey Trot
The Charlotte Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving morning road running event held at SouthPark Mall in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event draws about 9,000 participants and has run for decades as part of the local Thanksgiving tradition.
The event program includes multiple course options that start on Carnegie Boulevard and use nearby streets around SouthPark Mall. Distances offered include:

- 5K
- 8K
- Tot Trot for children ages 8 and under
Race services and amenities noted for participants include a high quality long sleeve T-shirt, post race beer garden featuring local breweries, Harris Teeter post run snacks, a costume contest with prizes, on-site coffee trucks, photo backdrops and deejays, and product sampling. The Tot Trot for children 8 and under is free and includes a medal and race bib. The event also provides more than 100 age group awards and multiple packet pickup locations around the Charlotte area including SouthPark and nearby shopping centers.
