The Turkey Trot at Millbridge
The Turkey Trot at Millbridge is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, at MillBridge in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The event is the 11th annual MillBridge Thanksgiving day tradition and features a 5K run, walk, or trot through the streets of the MillBridge community. Donations will be accepted to support Special Olympics. The event is described as rain or shine.

Registration, logistics, and awards
Online registration is available and closes on November 26. Packets and check-in will be available the day before at the Community House and on race day at the event site. Participants who register by November 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers. First place male and female finishers are recognized in each age group: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older. The Kids' Turkey Dash takes place across from the Community House and is free for children under 10. Registration fees are non-refundable; race management may cancel or modify the event for unfavorable conditions, and fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
