Settle Hills Race, Settle, England
The Settle Hills Race takes place on Sun 21 Jun 2026 and incorporates the 2026 Yorkshire Senior and U23 championship race. The course is 11.3 km (7 miles) with approximately 500 m of climb and uses mixed fell terrain. The route includes steep grassy descents, tracks and open ground, and offers views toward Pen-Y-Ghent. The course is well flagged, marshals are positioned on the route, and a map of the course is provided. Light refreshments are available at the finish.
The event is based at North Ribblesdale RUFC, Grove Park, Lower Greenfoot, Settle, with free parking at the rugby club. The race starts in Settle market place behind the Shambles, a five minute walk from the rugby club. Entry is available by pre-entry via SiEntries from early 2026 and on the day. Fees are listed for members and non-members for both pre-entry and entry on the day. The minimum age is 18. Teams are allowed and the first three men and first three women count for team scoring. The race holds a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. Runners should carry a waterproof or windproof top and a hat, or full kit if weather conditions require.
