Settle Hills Race
The Settle Hills Race is a challenging fell running event held in the scenic Yorkshire Dales above the historic market town of Settle. Covering 7 miles (11.3 km) with 600 meters (1640 feet) of ascent, the course features a mix of grassy paths, rocky trails, tarmac sections, and steep climbs and descents, including a notable descent from High Hill. The race starts at Settle Market Place and finishes at the nearby North Ribblesdale Rugby Club, which also provides registration, refreshments, and parking.
Participants enjoy spectacular limestone landscapes with views of Attermire Scar and the distant Three Peaks. The event is organized under Fell Running Association rules and requires appropriate kit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
