14th Annual Set the Pace 5K & 1 Mile Walk
This event takes place on May 2, 2026, at Wompatuck State Park, Union Street, Hingham, MA. It features a timed 5K, a 1 mile walk, and a community fun run with and without a shirt option.

- 5K (Adult 19+, Student 11-18, Children 10 & under)
- 1 Mile Walk
- Fun Run with shirt and no shirt options
Awards are assigned as follows: top three overall male and female finishers for both the 5K and the 1 mile walk; additional 5K awards for first place male and female in the age groups 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Results and awards for the 1 mile course are for walkers only.
Shirt orders have a deadline at the end of day Sunday, April 12th. The event benefits the Friends of South Shore Health Cardiovascular Care. The affiliated Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Center reports more than 10,000 patient visits per year and works with more than 30 cardiologists, radiologists, and vascular surgeons to provide prevention, detection, treatment, and rehabilitation of heart disease.
