Family Gratitude 5K and Kids 1/2 Mile Run : Ripples of Hope
The event is the 15th annual Family Gratitude 5K together with a Kids 1/2 mile run held on November 26, 2026, at the Endicott Estate on East Street in Dedham, Massachusetts. The event is offered both in person and virtually, and includes separate categories for a 5K run, a 5K walk, and a youth 1/2 mile race for children age nine and under.
Walkers are not chip timed; chip timing is available for the run. Strollers are permitted but are requested to line up toward the back of the field for safety. Dogs are not allowed because of race liability.
Registration fees vary by category and date. A virtual 5K run/walk option is available. The in-person kids 1/2 mile race is free, with a suggested donation of at least $5. Proceeds support local initiatives including the Dedham Youth Commission, the Dedham Food Pantry, and Ripples of Hope programs that address food insecurity, youth opportunities, disaster relief, and refugee resettlement.
