There is one transition area adjacent to the finish; only volunteers, staff, and registered athletes are allowed in transition. Athletes must be body‑marked before entering transition, wear an approved helmet, and have bikes inspected for USAT compliance. Relay teams must hand off the timing chip at their designated bike rack spot and follow the specified tagging and racking procedures.
Professional chip timing is provided; athletes receive split times for swim, bike, run, T1, T2, and finish. Packet pickup requires ID and includes locations listed for the event. Awards include top overall male/female, top age groups, top aquabike, Clydesdale and Athena divisions, and top relays. The race has a no‑refund policy; a paid fully refundable entry option is offered with conditions. Parking is on campus near the transition; organizers request arrival and departure via the indicated campus route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
