Seaside Showdown Series: Cape Spear Path
This event takes place in St. John's, NL, on the Cape Spear Path, running from Maddox Cove to Cape Spear. The course distance is 9.3 and the race is organized by the Seaside Showdown Series. The route is not flagged; volunteers are stationed at key locations, but racers are expected to know the trail.
A GPX file is available on request for use with devices such as Garmin watches. The series' Strava club also provides route downloads. Race registration includes a Parks Canada day pass fee of $7.65.
Bib pickup is handled at checkin on the starting line. Registrations and bib numbers cannot be transferred to other individuals, though moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds (less service fees) or rollover registration will be offered.
Parking is available at the starting line, and overflow parking is available at Cape Spear National Historic Site along the right shoulder of the road.
