Sea Rim Striders FREE Summer Run/Walk Series #9
This is a free, public 5K run/walk held in Orange, Texas at 403 Green Ave as part of the 2026 Summer Series. The event highlights local run groups and requires pre-registration; a signed waiver is required for every participant who will be on course. Spectators do not need to sign a waiver.
All registrants receive a wristband that must be worn while at the race site. There are no event shirts, official timing, finisher medals, or race bibs for this free series. Water stops are provided on course, and EMS or trained individuals will be on standby for basic first aid.
Course and venue conditions vary; not all summer locations are closed to regular traffic, so participants should be alert for motorists and other non-event users such as bicyclists. The organizers discourage strollers due to liability; if a stroller is used it must be indicated at registration and a separate stroller waiver completed. All babies and toddlers must be signed up as regular participants. Only children on foot or in strollers are permitted on course; bicycles, skates, skateboards, scooters, and similar devices are not allowed.
The use of headphones is discouraged so participants can remain aware of their surroundings. Participants are advised to wear proper shoes and sun protection and to hydrate before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
