Sea Rim Striders FREE Summer Run/Walk Series #8
The Sea Rim Striders Free Summer Run/Walk Series #8 takes place on July 20, 2026, at 9001 Dishman Rd., Beaumont, Texas. The event is a free and public 5K run/walk open to community participants.
Participation requires pre registration and a signed waiver for each person who will be on the course; spectators do not need a waiver. All registrants receive a wristband that must be worn while at the event site. There are no event shirts, timing, finisher medals, or race bibs provided for these free events. Water stops are available on course and EMS or trained individuals will be on standby.
Organizers note that not all summer locations are closed to the public, so participants should be alert for motorists and other non event users such as runners, walkers, and bicyclists. Pets should be left at home except for service animals. Children and toddlers on site must be registered as regular participants. Strollers are discouraged because of liability and a separate stroller waiver is required if a stroller will be used. Bikes, skates, skateboards, scooters, and other rolling toys are not allowed on the course. Organizers also recruit bike marshals to assist at events.
