This event is a free, public 5K run/walk held at 4401 S. MLK pkwy., Beaumont, TX on 08/03/2026. Participation requires a signed waiver submitted via pre-registration for each person who will be on the course; spectators do not need to sign a waiver. Pre-registration opens 07/27/2026 and closes 08/03/2026. Registration has no fee.
All registrants receive a wristband that must be worn while at the race site. The free format means there are no event shirts, official timing, finisher awards, medals, or race bibs provided. The event uses a mass start format and includes a social after party immediately following the run or walk.
Course notes and safety measures include adequate water stops on course, EMS or trained individuals on standby, and a recommendation to wear appropriate footwear and sun protection. Some Summer Series locations are not closed to the public, so participants should be cautious and alert for motorists and other users such as runners, walkers, and bicyclists who are not part of the event. Service animals are welcome; pets should remain at home.
Strollers are discouraged and may require a separate stroller waiver during registration. Children on foot or in strollers are allowed on course. Bicycles, skates, skateboards, scooters, and other rolling toys are not permitted. Use of headphones or earphones is discouraged to help maintain awareness on shared course sections.
