Sea-Hawks XC Season Opener
The event is scheduled for September 14, 2024, in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, at the Pippy Park Frisbee Golf Field across Prince Philip Drive from the Confederation Building. The race uses a 2 km grass loop.
Distances offered:
- 2 km for athletes born 2011-2014
- 5 km for athletes born 2010 and older
Registration and fees: the entry fee is 20.00 CAD per registrant. Additional non-member fees apply: 5.00 CAD for seniors and 1.00 CAD per U14 non-member. Payment is online and a small processing fee applies. The regular registration deadline was September 12, 2024 and registration is closed.
Competition and logistics: chip timing is provided by Athletics NorthEast. Medals are awarded to the top three in each age category. Parking is available at the College of the North Atlantic campus. The course matches the one used for the NLAA Provincial XC championships. A poster and a course map are available in the event documents.
