Scurry Around Devilla Forest Trail running festival 2026
The event is a trail running festival held on 23 Aug 2026 with multiple one-lap routes based at Tulliallan police college, Tulliallan Castle, Kincardine FK10 4BE. The trail runs take place on mixed terrain through Devilla Forest, an area of mainly Scots pines with lochs and wildlife. Surfaces include uneven trail paths, tarmac, grass and mud.
Routes are clearly signed and marshalled. A first aid team will be available at the start and finish areas. Finishers medals and a race memento are provided for half marathon, 10 km and 5 km entrants. Children in the family fun run receive a finishers medal and snacks. The event hub will feature race commentary, a coffee van and vendor representation offering refreshments and products.
Prizes will be awarded in the half marathon, 10 km and 5 km to first three male and female finishers, age category prizes and junior awards in the 5 km. Official results will be published online after the event; chip timing may not be used and a photo beam finish could be deployed. A contribution from the trail runs will support local charities and the Scottish Police Benevolent Fund.
