Scurry Around Devilla Forest Trail running festival 2026

The event takes place in Devilla Forest with the event hub at Tulliallan police college, Tulliallan Castle, Kincardine in the south east of Fife. The forest covers over 1900 acres of mainly Scots pine and includes four lochs, varied woodland and mixed terrain.

All running distances follow one lap courses that start and finish in the grounds of the police college.

Distances

• Half marathon, mixed terrain one lap course
• 10km trail run, one lap course
• 5km trail run, one lap course
• 5km junior run for ages 10 to 15
• 1.5km family fun run around the college grounds

Routes are waymarked and marshalled and run on a mixture of tarmac, grass, mud and trail paths. A first aid team will be available at the start and finish areas. Half marathon, 10km and 5km participants receive a finishers medal and a race memento. Fun run children receive a finishers medal and snacks. Prizes are awarded in the Half Marathon, 10km and 5km to top finishers and in designated age categories.

The event is hosted by Scurry Events with contributions to the Kincardine Community Association SC049552 and the Scottish Police Benevolent Fund SC043489. Local vendors and live race commentary are present in the event hub. Online entries are preferred and limited on the day entries may be available.
