Forth Road Bridge 10K - North Queensferry
The Forth Road Bridge 10 km road race takes place on 30 August 2026, starting at North Queensferry Community Centre and finishing at the north end of the Forth Road Bridge. The event is UKA licensed and the course has an official measurement.
There is no on-the-day registration. Race numbers and timing chips are posted out approximately one week before the event by Eventfull. The event currently operates a waiting list for entries.
There is no parking at the community centre. Entrants are directed to Ferrytoll Park and Ride, a walk of about 15 minutes, and a signed route uses the pavement alongside the motorway and a set of stairs up into North Queensferry. Where possible organisers advise car sharing or public transport; Stagecoach buses serve the Park and Ride.
The community centre has toilets but no changing facilities or showers. Bags or kit may be left at the owner’s risk. The race start area is relatively narrow so runners should position themselves according to their predicted finish time. The course is undulating through North Queensferry, includes an out-and-back section of about 600 m at Jamestown, and uses the east and west walkways of the bridge. The event is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
Headphones are not permitted on open roads except bone conducting or medically prescribed devices; in-ear headphones may lead to disqualification. A self-serve water station with recyclable cups is provided on course and a post-race buffet is available at the community centre; bringing a personal cup or plate is encouraged. Prizes include trophies for overall winners including non-binary and age group prizes for male and female. Results will be published on the Eventfull and Scottish Athletics websites. The Forth Road Bridge Authority may cancel the race in high winds; if cancelled entrants will be deferred to 2027 unless a full refund is requested. Transfers can be managed by users on Entry Central with the last transfer date 1 August 2026. Withdrawals do not receive a refund or deferral.
