Screaming Monkey - Keithville, LA
Screaming Monkey is scheduled for November 7, 2026 at Eddie D. Jones Park in Keithville, Louisiana. The event uses a 15.5 mile loop course composed of mostly single-track and includes several distance options.

The loop is approximately 15.5 miles and is about 75% single-track, 12% wide equestrian trails, under 11% small gravel, and 2% road. Surface conditions include packed soil with roots and rocks, areas of pine straw, rolling red-clay hills, and a ravine section. Each loop involves roughly 1050 to 1100 feet of elevation gain and loss.
Aid stations include a start/finish station and two on-course stations, one of which is accessed twice. Drop bags are available at the aid stations located near mile 9 and mile 14. Pacers are permitted with prior registration as pacers and a signed waiver; pacers are allowed after a runner has completed two loops.
A limited Chimp Haven tour may be offered with capacity capped at 25 participants and a partial refund policy if canceled for weather. Free camping is available at the park during race weekend; some RV pads exist with boondocking rules. Race swag varies by distance, with custom buckles planned for the 100K and 100 miler.
