About the race
The All Hands 5K & Fun Run is a fundraising running event on October 24, 2026, benefitting the Betty and Leonard Phillips Deaf Action Center. The event uses the Deaf Action Center at 601 Jordan St., Shreveport, LA as the start and finish location.

Registration for each event follows tiered pricing. Fun Run pricing: Early Bird through August 31 is $20, Regular from September 1 to October 23 is $25, Race Day is $30. 5K pricing: Early Bird through August 31 is $25, Regular from September 1 to October 23 is $30, Race Day is $35. Registration openings and closing dates are provided by the organizer. Registrations are nonrefundable because this is a fundraising event. Registrations completed by September 30 are eligible for the event T-shirt.
Race packet pick-up is at the Deaf Action Center on Thursday, October 22 (noon to 6:30 p.m.) and Friday, October 23 (8:30 a.m. to noon), with additional pick-up available at the race site on race day. All Fun Run participants receive a participation patch.
Awards and extras include $100 cash and a medal for overall male and female 5K winners, first-place male and female awards in age groups (0-12, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+), door prizes, food, kids activities, raffles and silent auctions. Course maps are tentative pending permit approvals.
Course rules note that strollers, wagons, baby joggers and other hand-pushed or pulled vehicles may be on course only at walking pace; in-line skates and roller skates are prohibited. No dogs are allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
