St. Mark's Paw Print Sprint 5k
St. Mark's Paw Print Sprint 5k is scheduled for October 24, 2026, at St. Mark's Cathedral School in Shreveport, LA. The event program includes a 5k race (3.1 miles), a Fun Run, and a Sideline Supporter option for people who want the event shirt without running.
Registration pricing varies by date: early registration through September 30 is $25 (or $20 each for families of four or more), October 1 through October 23 is $30, and race day registration is $35. Participants who register by Thursday, October 8 are guaranteed a Paw Print Sprint shirt; shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after that date.
Shirt and race packet pick-up is available at two locations and times: Wednesday, October 21, 3:00–5:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s Cathedral Ministry Center (908 Rutherford St.), and Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. at Sportspectrum (6970 Fern Ave.).
Awards for the 5k include $100 cash for overall male and female winners and $50 for second place overall. Age-group awards are given for first place in the following groups: 10 and under, 11–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 and over.
Post-race activities listed by the organizer include Trunk-or-Treat, food trucks, inflatables, music, and awards. Strollers, wagons, and other hand-pushed or pulled vehicles are allowed on the course at walk pace only; in-line skates, roller skates, and runners with baby strollers are not permitted on the run course.
