Scrabo running event

The Scrabo running event takes place in County Down on Thursday, August 20, 2026. The race is a 6.30 km course with a total climb of 360 m. It is organized by Ballydrain Harriers as part of the NIMRA Championships (Short).

The event difficulty is described as easy terrain, with less than 200m of ascent and less than 6km. Race marking is limited to only major junctions. The use of GPS devices is not allowed.

This includes a waterproof jacket, a hat or buff, gloves, a whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag, or equivalent. Random checks may be carried out, and failure to have the required items may lead to denied entry or disqualification.
