About the race
Seaton Classic 10k, in Bangor, Northern Ireland, is the NI & Ulster Championship road race organized by North Down Athletic Club. The 10k begins in Castle Park near the City Hall and finishes in Ward Park. Chip-timed and described as flat and fast, it includes a short hill around 9k and sends runners out through Bangor city centre to the coast and on to Groomsport before looping back.
Water stations are at Groomsport and the finish, with post-race refreshments in Ward Park. The prize fund exceeds £3,550 with age-category prizes; open to 15+. Formerly Bangor 10k, the event is inclusive and has welcomed Olympians. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
