Scottish Half Marathon
The Scottish Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 15 August 2027 in East Lothian, starting just outside Edinburgh and finishing at Musselburgh Racecourse, Scotland's oldest racecourse. The course follows the East Lothian Golf Coast and is described by the organiser as seriously flat and rapid.
The event distance is 13.1 miles. Displayed entry prices show the minimum cost associated with entering the event at the current time: charity entry from £0 and standard entry from £45.75.
Entry fees include a range of finishers items and services. Included are a wicking finisher's t-shirt, a finisher's medal and keyring, and a finisher's pack. Runners receive a personalised event number with an accurate timing chip, event baggage facilities, hydration and energy gel on route, and hydration and nutrition at the finish. Official results are posted in participant accounts within 48 hours. The organiser notes that finishers items are subject to change and may differ slightly from any checklist or image.
