About the race
The Scottish Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 15 August 2027 in East Lothian, Scotland. The race covers 13.1 miles on a route described as flat and rapid. The course starts just outside Edinburgh, follows the East Lothian Golf Coast and finishes in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse.
