Scilly60% – The Marathon
Scilly60% is a 42 km multi island marathon held on Friday 4 September 2026. The route runs across five inhabited islands, with full circumnavigations of St Martin’s, Tresco, Bryher and St Agnes, and finishes with a final run on St Mary’s. Routes are professionally marked and include boat transfers between islands with ferry transitions that account for tides.
The race is fully self-sufficient. There are no energy stations en route and participants must start carrying at least 3 litres of water in their boat bag. Runners are expected to carry their own food, clothing and basic kit for the day; spare supplies may be left on the boat or at island start areas.
Cut-off times are based on a pace of 8:30 min/km (13:20 min/mile), offering a more forgiving window than the original Scilly60, though terrain, tidal deadlines and logistics remain significant factors. The field is limited to 150 participants and full event support and first aid cover is provided at island start/finish quays.
