Event Overview
The SCAR Superhero Run for Scholarships is a running event organized by the Sussex County Association of Realtors (SCAR). The event raises funds for scholarships offered by the New Jersey Realtors® Educational Foundation, which supports local high school and college students.

The event includes three separate runs:
- SCAR Superhero 5K Run for Scholarships
- 5K Run (USATF Members Only)
- 1 Mile Color Fun Run
Event Details
The races take place at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, New Jersey. The 5K course is USATF-certified and sanctioned. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups.
The 1 Mile Color Fun Run is a new addition. Participants who pre-register for this run receive a white t-shirt.
Additional Activities
The event features a festival atmosphere. Many participants dress in superhero costumes. Other activities include food trucks, games, photo opportunities, face painting, and a bouncy slide. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
