Event overview
The SCAR Superhero Run for Scholarships is the Sussex County Association of Realtors' 2nd annual event on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, NJ. The event includes a USATF-sanctioned and USATF-certified 5K course and a separate 1 Mile Color Fun Run. Proceeds support annual scholarships from the New Jersey Realtors Educational Foundation for eligible high school seniors and college students.

The 5K is run on a USATF certified course and is sanctioned by USATF. Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers, and to the top three male and top three female finishers in these age groups: 12 and under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over.
The fun run provides a white T-shirt for pre-registered participants and is open to all ages. On-site activities listed by the organizer include food trucks, games, photo opportunities, face painting, and a bouncy slide. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
