SBFD Company Monster Dash 5K Run/Walk - Stony Brook, NY
The Stony Brook Fire Department presents a Halloween Monster Dash on October 31, 2026 at 1410 Stony Brook Rd., Stony Brook, NY. The event will run rain or shine and features both a timed 5K and a fun 1 mile run/walk.

Registration options and pricing vary and the total price may change with additional options such as donations or sponsorships. Participants who register by October 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt. Personalized bibs are offered for registrants who sign up three weeks before race day.
Amenities listed for the event include bagels, vendors, refreshments including water and sports drinks, live results via text or email, and free finish line photos. Bib pickup is handled by event staff before the event; participants should know their bib number or use the self lookup area. Registrations completed within 24 hours of bib pickup may receive a bib number by text shortly after registering.
Awards are planned for top male and female overall, top male and female in age groups (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over), and for best costume.
