SBFD Company Monster Dash 5K Run/Walk
The Stony Brook Fire Department presents a Halloween themed running event on October 31, 2026, at Race Site, 1410 Stony Brook Rd., Stony Brook, NY 11790. The event includes a timed 5K race and an untimed 1 mile fun run/walk. Costumes are encouraged.

Amenities listed for the event include bagels, on-site vendors, refreshments such as water and sports drinks, live online and text results, free finish line photos, and same-day video. Registrations completed by October 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt; personalized bibs are available for registrations made at least three weeks before the event.
Awards are planned for top male and female overall finishers, top male and female in age groups (14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over), and a best costume prize. The event benefits the Stony Brook Fire Department.
