Saxon Shore Half Marathon incorporating Saxon Shore 10k
The event is a coastal running weekend centred at Whitstable Castle, Tower Hill, Whitstable, CT5 2BW. It takes place on 16 August 2026 and features two race options: a half marathon and a 10k. The Saxon Shore event is in its eighth year and has sold out in previous editions. The 10k returns for 2026, expanding the race options.
The race headquarters and event village are based at Whitstable Castle. The event village offers a place for family and friends to gather and provides easy access to viewing points along the course. For 2026 an after party at Whitstable Castle is included with entry; the party includes food, drink and live music.

Entry fees (advanced and on-the-day where space allows) are listed in GBP:
- Half Marathon: advanced entries £30 affiliated club members, £32 unaffiliated; on-the-day £40.
- 10k: advanced entries £24 affiliated club members, £26 unaffiliated; on-the-day £30.
Age limits under UK Athletics rules apply: minimum 17 years on the day for the half marathon and minimum 15 years on the day for the 10k.
