Event overview
The Saxon Shore event is a coastal running event at Whitstable Castle, Tower Hill, Whitstable (CT5 2BW) on 21 June 2026. The programme includes an after party at Whitstable Castle with food, drink and live music; access to the party is included with race entry. The event has reached its eighth year and has sold out in previous years. The Event Village is located close to viewing points along the course.

The organiser has published advanced entry prices and on-the-day prices. Advanced entry fees are listed as: Half Marathon £28 for affiliated club members, £30 unaffiliated; 10k £23 affiliated, £25 unaffiliated. On-the-day entries (subject to space) are listed as £35 for the half marathon and £30 for the 10k. Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age is 17 for the half marathon and 15 for the 10k on the day of the event. Venue facilities include toilets and refreshments.
